The Center for Leadership and Innovation
The Center for Leadership and Innovation (CLI) is an integral part of the College of Business, delivering the region's premier executive and technology education programs and providing a focal point for applied, consultative research in support of the business community of Southwest Florida. Located in Lutgert Hall on the FGCU Campus, the Center houses the Executive MBA program, the Center for Technology Education, the Small Business Development Center, the Southwest Florida Library Network, and various faculty-led applied research Institutes.

The Executive MBA Program
The FGCU Executive MBA Program is designed for mid- and senior-level executives. The program offers seasoned executives and professionals the opportunity to significantly increase their personal and organizational effectiveness. The Lucas Institute for Real Estate Development and Finance
The Lucas Institute for Real Estate Development and Finance facilitates the delivery of the Executive MBA in Real Estate Development. Funded through the generous support of David and Linda Lucas, the Lucas Institute serves as the primary linkage between the FGCU College of Business and the real estate industry in Southwest Florida. The goal of the Lucas Institute is to develop and deliver academic programs of nationally recognized quality that will strengthen all segments of the Southwest Florida real estate industry. The Small Business Development Center
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a partnership of FGCU and the U.S. Small Business Administration, delivers up-to-date counseling, training, and technical assistance in all aspects of small business management. Procurement Technical Assistance Center
The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) helps area businesses interested in obtaining contracts with the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, state and local governments and participating prime contractors. Counseling is provided free of charge to any Florida firm, although fees may be charged for special services and/or workshops. The PTAC center's purpose is to: educate businesses on government policies, generate sales and jobs for Florida Businesses and to improve the business climate and economic development in Florida. Our counseling services include: bid and proposal preparation, basic training conferences, marketing, contract administration, pre-award surveys, quality assurance program and special training programs. The Institute for Chinese Studies
The Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) serves as the coordinating center of the academic program development, faculty exchange and student exchange with Nankai University, our partner university in China. Dr. Dan Borgia serves the director of the ICS. The ICS also develops and presents executive development and exchanges with universities and business leaders in China and the United States. Regional Economic Research Institute
The Regional Economic Research Institute (RERI) was developed to perform economic research, analysis, and forecasting for both the region and the individual economic development organizations in this area. The structure of the RERI includes partnership with the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council and the area economic development offices. Institute for Advances in Human Resources
The Institute for Advances in Human Resources (IAHR) is a resource for Southwest Florida's human resource management community. It integrates a variety of human resources programs, forums, certificates, and advanced developmental activities. In achieving this goal, the Institute will seek to be a leader in integrating scholarship and practice to the benefit of the College of Business, its faculty and students, and the business community. Activities and programs offered include certificate programs as an HR generalist, partnerships, roundtable forums, seminars and workshops on a wide array of HR activities, salary surveys, day-long HR conferences and grant-based HR research.
